Position Overview
As a Social Media Manager, you will be at the helm of Amazon’s online presence, driving our social media strategy to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty. You will develop compelling content tailored for various platforms, analyze performance metrics, and oversee the execution of campaigns that reflect our company’s innovative spirit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to align with business goals and effectively reach target audiences.
- Oversee content creation and curation across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor, manage, and grow Amazon's social media presence, engaging followers, and fostering community relationships.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights to continuously enhance strategy effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of social media trends and best practices, adapting strategies to maintain Amazon’s competitive edge.
- Collaborate with marketing teams and other departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all platforms.
- Develop and manage a social media content calendar, prioritizing timely and relevant topics.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting and targeted demographics.
- Engage with customers and followers through proactive communication and swift resolution of inquiries or concerns.
- Report on brand sentiment and user engagement, presenting findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, analytics, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Creative thinking with a passion for crafting engaging content.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with video production and graphic design software is a plus.
